The LGB Series consists of oil-free, variable-pitch dry screw vacuum pumps designed for demanding industrial vacuum processes. The variable-pitch rotor geometry progressively reduces the trapped gas volume as it moves toward the exhaust, providing internal compression within the pumping chamber. Compared with conventional equal-pitch designs, this principle can reduce discharge temperature and improve operating efficiency, making the LGB Series particularly suitable for chemical processing, pharmaceutical production, vacuum drying, solvent recovery and other demanding industrial applications.
Working Principle
Two synchronized variable-pitch screw rotors rotate in opposite directions without contacting each other or the pump housing. As process gas is trapped and transported axially from the inlet toward the exhaust, the progressively decreasing pitch reduces the trapped gas volume and provides internal compression. This reduces the pressure ratio required at the final discharge stage, helping to lower discharge temperature and improve operating efficiency.
