The SV Series comprises compact oil-sealed pumps and industrial single-stage rotary vane vacuum pumps for compatible vacuum applications. Vacuum oil provides internal sealing, vane lubrication and removal of compression heat, while oil-mist filtration separates oil from the discharged gas. Compact models cover 10 to 25 m³/h at 50 Hz and 12 to 30 m³/h at 60 Hz, with standard ultimate total pressures of 100 or 150 Pa depending on the model. Industrial models cover 40 to 300 m³/h, with ultimate total pressure ratings of 0.1 to 0.5 mbar depending on the model. The industrial catalogue table does not distinguish 50 Hz and 60 Hz performance. Compact pumps are intended for indoor installation and for air and other dry, non-toxic, non-corrosive and non-explosive gases. Water vapour may be pumped only within the applicable permitted vapour-pressure limit. Industrial models include gas-ballast operation for vapour-handling applications within their specified pressure and capacity limits. Model selection and electrical configuration should be confirmed for the application. Ultimate pressure is a catalogue limit, not a guarantee of the listed pumping speed at every operating pressure.
Working Principle
The SV Series uses the single-stage rotary vane pumping principle. Vacuum oil seals the internal clearances, lubricates the vanes and carries away compression heat. An exhaust oil-mist filter separates oil from the discharged gas. Industrial models may operate independently or serve as backing pumps in vacuum systems.

4 photosOil-Sealed Design
Vacuum oil seals the pump clearances, lubricates the vanes and removes compression heat. The discharged gas passes through oil-mist filtration. The SV Series is an oil-sealed pump family and is not an oil-free or dry-pump series.
Vapour Handling
The industrial catalogue specifies gas-ballast operation, a permitted water-vapour pressure of 40 mbar, and model-specific water-vapour capacities from 0.6 to 5 kg/h. Compact pumps may handle water vapour only within the permitted vapour-pressure limit; the compact catalogue does not provide a numerical limit. Confirm the exact model and process conditions before selection.
Operating Media
The compact SV catalogue specifies air and other dry, non-toxic, non-corrosive and non-explosive gases for indoor installation. Water-vapour handling is limited by the applicable pump rating. Applications involving hazardous or corrosive gases, entrained liquid or other special media require a separate application review; the catalogue does not establish suitability for unrestricted wet service.
*Compact pumping speeds are stated separately at 50 Hz and 60 Hz. The industrial catalogue table does not distinguish frequency; confirm electrical configuration and corresponding performance when ordering.
*SV16 and SV16B are distinct models.
*Standard SV20B and SV25B ultimate total pressure is 100 Pa. A guaranteed ultimate total pressure of ≤66.7 Pa is available only when that configuration is explicitly specified in the order.
*No numerical voltage or phase rating is provided in this catalogue. The SV063 motor entry is 1.5 / 2.2 kW without a stated configuration mapping.
*Pressure values are measured with a capacitance diaphragm gauge. Pirani-gauge readings may be higher by 0.5 to 1 order of magnitude. Specifications are subject to change.
*Ultimate total pressure and catalogue pumping speed do not establish the complete operating-point performance. Refer to the source brochure for additional model parameters.
